High School Percussion Camp
In this camp, high schoolers are invited to spend a week engaging in percussion ensemble music in preparation for an end-of-camp performance. The camp will challenge the students to think critically about percussion music while giving them the opportunity to improve their technique and musicality through seminars, master-classes, and performances provided by our university-trained percussion staff.



Eligibility
Rising 9th - 12th grade percussionists.
Ages 14 - 18, including 2026 grads!
Campers who attend our High School Percussion Camp must have at least 2 years of experience as a percussionist in their school band, orchestra, or percussion ensemble.
- OR -
at least 2 years of private percussion lessons with written music and keyboard studies.

Aug 10th - 14th
A week-long day camp from 10am - 5pm with before and after camp options.
Activities

🎵 Rehearsals with Large Percussion Ensemble*
Rehearsals with Chamber Ensembles*
🎶 Daily sessions dedicated to various percussion techniques and performance practices
🎼 Student performances

Materials and Lunch
All instruments and other materials are provided. Students should bring a packed lunch, water bottle, and a snack.
All students will receive 1 pair of drumsticks, 1 set of earplugs, and a camp T-shirt!
